A selection of images of pathologies identified during brain MRI of stranded sea lions in rehabilitation

California sea lions that undergo rehabilitation at The Marine Mammal Center, Sausalito, CA strand for a number of reasons including neurological disease. MRI studies may be performed as part of the clinical work up of these cases. Several examples of lesions identified during brain MRI are displayed here.
